PAO hires people who enjoy helping people with disabilities and mental illness meet their daily living needs, participate in the community and fulfill their dreams. The PAO staff maintain up-to-date Red Cross CPR and First Aid cards and receive training in Recipient Rights, Blood-borne Pathogens, Health and Safety, Medications and Healthy Eating. We employ approximately 180 people, about half of them are full time employees. Many of our personal assistance staff have been with us for 10 years or more.
